Well, this can either be a great feature or an annoying one. When you want to insert a YouTube video into a MeshMail message, you are simply uploading a YouTube URL and MeshMail is displaying that media within the message player. Since it isn't actually hosted on the MeshMail's cloud, we here do not have any control over what content YouTube suggests after the video is done playing. However, there is a workaround you can use in YouTube to eliminate the suggested content.

Change the URL you upload from YouTube into MeshMail. When you upload a YouTube video, you just copy and paste the URL that is in the navigation bar. There are a few steps you can take to eliminate the issue of YouTube suggesting content after you video is done playing. The first step is to scroll to below the video and select the option to "Share" and then you will see these options.

Then, select the option that says "Embed." It will generate a like that looks similar to the one in your navigation bar with some additional code. Instead of using that generated URL link, click the "Show More" option at the bottom. It will then show you a preview of your video with some extra options below it similar to below.

As you can see, the first option after the video size is "Show suggested videos when the video finishes." When you uncheck this box, the url will change. You will not copy and paste the entire given url into MeshMail. You will only need to copy a section of it as seen below in the highlighted blue color.

If you upload this url into MesMail, the problem should be solved! If you still have issues, please contact our support team via our live chat or [email protected]
